I believe I've messed the HD on my Dell Latitude E6220 laptop. I was using Bleachbit to free up some HD space, and the laptop crashed while the process was taking place. Now the laptop won't boot from the HD, may be because it is corrupted or full. And the HD root data is not being detected anymore, neither. I'm unable to wipe or reformat the whole HD. Can only boot with the USB drive.
Can anyone please help me? Or, is it time to dump the laptop?

Can try, but you'll need to provide more information.
For example what disk make/model is fitted ?
Is the system BIOS or UEFI ?
Is the disk recognised by the BIOS/UEFI at power up ?

Do you mean you don't want to or that there is a problem when you try ?
If there is a problem, please tell us what you are trying and what happens.

What exactly happens ?

If you are able to boot from a LL Live USB media, try opening a terminal window and running these commands
These will tell us a little about what storage the system can see.
Post the results back.

If the disk has failed, it can be replaced.
