Thanks, it is working again. Having the option review the log and the choice to save is a plus.

Hi,

Thanks for the 7.8 release. I was able to perform an in-series upgrade with no issues. However, when I tried to install a fresh 7.8 VM from scratch using VMware Workstation Pro 25H2 Version 25.0.0.24995812, and VirtualBox Version 7.2.6 r172322, the process stalls after I clicked on "Continue" in the Install (as superuser) "Who are you?" step.

I tried to also create a VM using Proxmox as well, all exhibited the same issue, i.e. stalls at the exact same step. Not sure if anyone else encountered the same thing?

Regards,
cth

I'm pretty sure that following an update/upgrade that involved new kernel packages, the previous Lite update/upgrade routine would offer the option for a reboot to invoke the new kernel.

Has the new version of the update/upgrade dropped this feature ?

Edit - Ignore, I was closing the final window with the 'X' button rather than the 'Close' button.

Hi Jerry,

We certainly did... LL gave me a "Great Foundation"
A lot of Life Changing Health events since then...
But I'm doing Great now.

Linux wise, I moved on to Linux Mint on a New PC
I may take LL 7.8 for a Spin in a VM for old times sake Smile

Regards
Dave
