Materia Comfort Theme v1.01 (GTK only Version) mouse grabable window borders & edges

Resizing windows with the mouse is a fundamental feature that has existed in every operating system for decades.
However, this feature has been lost in Linux, as window borders are almost impossible to grab with current themes.
As a result, popular distributions like Linux Lite, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, etc. now have a broken window theme onboard.
Comfort Themes such as the Materia Comfort Theme are designed to fix this problem and make window borders and edges grabable again.

MX-Linux and other distributions have already started adding comfort themes to their operating systems.
While Linux Lite comes with the "Greybird" theme preinstalled with accessibility=comfort window themes, the Linux Lite standard theme "Materia" is still broken.

The Materia Comfort Theme has been adapted to the Linux Default Window Theme as it has easy grabable 5-pixel-wide borders and edges compared to Materia's 2-pixel-wide borders (for details, read the included text file from line 83).
Colors have also been adjusted for the menubar's background, hover background, font and hover font (Standard, Dark, Light), the notebook/tab background and selected background (Dark) and the xfce4-panel (Light) (reasons for this can be found in the included text file from line 140).

The Materia Theme must already be installed, otherwise the Materia Comfort Theme cannot be installed by the script.

Although the Materia Comfort Theme v1.01 looks finalized, some/many color settings whose function I haven't been able to figure out haven't been adjusted in the GTK scripts.

It would be interesting to know if the developer of Materia, who unfortunately hasn't developed the theme further for years, is interested in integrating comfort themes (Standard, Dark, Light) into Materia.

Note: v1.01 is currently only compatible with the Materia version from Linux Lite. The upcoming Materia Comfort Theme v1.1 will also be compatible with the Materia version from the Package Manager "materia-gtk-theme" which also has GTK4 support.
I am quite new to Linux lite. My issue is that whenever I create a new user, the theme is completely different from the original Linux lite theme and I cannot seem to match it perfectly to the original.
Is there a way that I can set it to only have the original theme when creating another profile instead of the new theme below?
Does anyone know why this happens?

How can I change change a folder icon/emblem to one I have downloaded?

Well, I spent a lot more time investigating my own question ... I was able to download and install a custom .svg file to use as an emblem on my Recipes folder. (Since I retired, I do most of the cooking, so I am always looking for good simple recipes.)

Steps:
1. Download an appropriate free .svg file (or .jpg/.png file and convert to .svg).
2. Rename the the .svg file as follows: "emblem-recipe.svg"
3. As Administrator, copy the .svg file to the appropriate directory (e.g., /usr/share/icons/Humanity/emblems/48/)
4. As Administrator, execute the following: "sudo gtk-update-icon-cache /usr/share/icons/Humanity" (where the index.theme file "lives.")
5. You should now see this new "recipe" emblem when you choose an emblem for a folder.

I would prefer to add customization files locally (e.g., .local/user/share/Icons/ ...), but this approach works.

I have added an attachment that includes all of the emblems that I am using to add a visual indicator to file folders.

Hello,
I work as a school IT in a French school and I want to recycle old Winshit computers using cool tool like Linux Lite.

I've already installed Linux Lite on 20 computers, linked all of them to the AD, created useful .desktop (for online Scratch, GeoGebra, Thonny...) and put them in the /etc/skel/Desktop directory...

Now (even if I like its design) I want to replace the feather on the default desktop by our school logo.

I know its not in /usr/share/backgrounds cause I already tried it (maybe not enough)

Can someone help me with this?

After having installed Linux Lite 7 I found it - to be honest - quite annoying, that the desktop is not configured as in the Live System (after reboot it has a, to say the least, unpleasant appearance with two panels etc.). Why is that?

I managed to configure almost everything, the only question remains: How to get the "Linux Lite Terminal" exactly as it was in the Live System? Is there a configuration file somewhere? Now I have only the ordinary Xfce-Terminal. Not a big thing, but would be nice to have the Linux Lite appearance.
