Hi!
Pretty sure this hardware is 32 bits only since every info points to this and the computer is limited to 2GB :58: They asked me to try and with some work, i was able to install Windows 10 32bits but only version 1507 (i.e. the 1st Windows 10).But... video and infrared cannot be configured since no drivers were ever made. (WinXP / Vista 32bits only).
Linux Lite 3.8 would be the last 32bits version to install, but even then, would the Intel GMA 915 work with a real driver or just the default?
I briefly looked but maybe there is a website listing hardware by last supported kernel?

Hello, I've been looking for instructions on how to properly set up drivers for Intel-based GPUs as I have not been able to get 3D graphics to work with them and I have not been able to find a clear answer anywhere. I'm still new to Linux but I've been learning a lot and I'm just looking to get my devices as functional as I can get them. Any advice? Or do games just not work at all with Intel drivers?

Hi everyone
I am quite fresh at Linux. I have dual boot win+Lin and two partitions: windows + programs and Linux installation along and another data partition. The problem is that Data partition is not visible in File manager. I can see windows and other programs, but data is not visible. In partition manager it says 1TB Data, unknown.

| ZOOM not connecting since last update. |

I've been using zoom for awhile. No problems. But since the last update I can't connect.
I tried my wife's windows laptop, no problem, so it's not our internet.
I use Firefox so I downloaded and tried Chrome, which is what she's using, but it won't connect.
I've gone straight to the site and tried it from there, and that won't work.
It's always the same: Error code 104114.
Note, I can get logged in and go to my meetings in all these cases. But it just stays at CONNECTING and then the error code shows up.
Hate to say it but it looks like I'm going to have to resort to Windows.
Please help me.... I don't want to do that.
Thanks, Amigo

| Crayon Physics |

[size=10pt]Hi, when I first installed Linux Lite I used the built in Lite software installer to install Crayon Physics and Virtual Box. It worked very well but I had an issue with something that caused me to revert back to a restore of my newly installed system. I needed to reinstall these programs but one of them is not even in the list. Crayon Physics is missing now for some reason. Did it get removed for some reason? Or did I bork something somewhere that is causing it not to show up? Thanks.

Hi, I've never used a linux OS before. But I am fed up with Microsoft forcing you to upgrade OSes every few years and forcing software like Edge on you (Who wants Edge instead of Firefox?! Why?), their bloated, slow 'improved' image viewing software, ect.
I have refused to 'upgrade'. I'm still using windows 7.
I got Ubuntu touch going on a phone, and have purchased a new (old) laptop to turn into linux. (I'd like to keep windows 7 on here so I can continue using software/games.)
I am strongly considering Linux Lite, because I just want something fast and simple. Mainly for internet browsing and novel writing.
I purchased a Lenovo Thinkpad X131e.
Here's it's specs:
Processor: 1.40 GHz
RAM: 6 GB
GPU: AMD Radeon HD
Hard Drive: 320 GB
Does Linux Lite sound like a good fit?
