This occurred after suddenly I could not restart my version of Linux Lite, but could have it run a previous version. 
Now it starts without choosing a version, but I cannot update.Please help!

Hi all, 

I just stumbled over some curious behaviour. The "locate" command doesn´t seem to include my home directory.

On my desktop I created a text-file "prov.txt", then ran "sudo updatedb" but
"locate prov.txt" didn´t return any results.  :023:

The "find" command however doesn´t have any difficulties finding it.
Is it possible that the home directory is excluded by "locate"?

The writing language is in PT-BR, but the interface is in English, and even if I put "sudo apt install libreoffice-l10n-pt-br" in the terminal, the message appears that the latest version is already up to date.

How do I make the LibreOffice interface in Brazilian Portuguese? Thanks.

There's a new guy on the forum : French, 50, been dabbling with computers since I was 13. Switched to Linux around 6 years ago. Recently installed LinuxLite on an old laptop, which has since better days and turned it into a perfect media center, this gave me the idea for several other projects involving cheap or low end computer.

After my fresh install of Linux Lite 6.2. I wanted to get my virtual machines running again. The images are still present on my third partition and yesterday I installed qemu-system and virt-manager .

After that:

    Attempt to create your VM. When the error dialog appears, click Yes to correct the error.

    What this does is change the user and group of your image file (to libvirt-qemu:libvirt-qemu if that's your virt-manager user).

    When you get to the next step, cancel the creation process and close virt-manager.

    Now relaunch virt-manager without sudo and attempt to create your VM again.
