"Remove" GRUB from startup?

Installed LL 5.2
All fine and good BUT on EVERY startup I get a black full screen with some for me irrelevant text about editing ending in a terminal input prompt: grub>
I type EXIT and the system resumes booting normally AFTER a re-boot.
I have not found anything anywhere about this behavior.
ALL my customers are retirement age or older and all consider themselves computer illiterate; I can not ask them to "just type exit", they want it to just work and I think that's understandable.
Since I often recommend and "resurrect" older PC's with Linux Lite I kind'a need a solution to avoid that grub> prompt completely.
Can anyone please help with a link or direct advice?TIAeikelein

Hello I have NitroShare on three units my Linux lite laptop Samsung s9+ and my windows 10 pc
The laptop can receive files but cannot send i get the message "failed connection" also nitroShare only sends files when the Operating system is present so although it sees my android phone it does not know the operating system.
Is there an easy work around for this ?
Thanks in advance

Linux lite freezes randomly. I tried doing ctrl+alt+backspace and that dosen't work. I then tried ctrl+alt+f1 and that didn't work. Intresting, if the computer is not frozen, if I do ctrl+alt+f1 then it freezes

Desktop Icon Spacing

Hello, I am trying to change the spacing between the icons on my desktop. I would like to place them closer together than they currently are. I am attempting to follow this guide: https://forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=58685. I am confused when it comes to editing "~/.config/gtk.css" as I'm unsure where to locate this file. When I go to the folder for my current theme (/usr/share/themes/Adapta-Nokto/gtk-3.0/) I see a gkt.css file however it does not seem like this is the correct file to edit. I'm wondering how I would find the "~/.config/gtk.css" file. Thank you for your help!

Printing to Canon MG5300 printer

I am all for Linux Lite to come in and replace Windows 7, 10. I realize Canon is doing nothing to provide Linux drivers. If someone in the Linux Lite community could develop a printer driver(s) for Canon printers, then I (we) could go completely Linux Lite and dump Windows. But I have to keep a Windows box around just to be able to print to the Canon. I am not a developer (just a lowly Sys Admin), so I am unable to fix it myself. It would be cool if Linux Lite could print to Canon printers right out of the box (.iso?) 8)
